Founded by a therapist and her VA
Assistant To The Therapist connects mental health practices with skilled virtual assistants — built on fair, respectful partnerships where both clients and VAs thrive.

Melissa DaSilva, LICSW
Melissa is a licensed clinical social worker (LICSW), the CEO of East Coast Mental Wellness, and the founder of Assistant To The Therapist. As a therapist and practice owner herself, she built ATTT alongside her own VA to help other practices get skilled, reliable support.
“I knew therapists didn't need more advice. They needed a clear path forward.”
Melissa leads the needs-assessment call for every Matchmaking Plus client, and created the Private Practice Prep School to help therapists launch their practices with clarity, confidence and compliance.
Kim De Asis
Based in the Philippines, Kim brings extensive experience in virtual assistance, healthcare administration, client relations and practice operations — focused primarily on supporting mental health professionals and private practices throughout the United States.
Before co-founding ATTT, Kim worked with several VA agencies and directly supported healthcare and mental health organizations. She saw the challenges both clients and VAs face — inconsistent expectations, lack of support and communication barriers — and set out to help build a different kind of agency, focused on transparency, fairness, accountability and long-term success.
At ATTT, Kim oversees recruitment, candidate screening, onboarding, training, quality assurance and ongoing support for virtual assistants, working closely with practice owners so each VA is properly matched, trained and supported.
“Successful outsourcing relationships are built on mutual respect, fair compensation, clear expectations and open communication.”

A former VA and a practice owner, building a better way
As someone who began her career as a virtual assistant, Kim remains passionate about creating meaningful career opportunities for Filipino professionals. Her perspective as both a former VA and agency owner lets ATTT advocate for clients' success while supporting the growth and well-being of the professionals who serve them.
